Protect what our families depend on. —
Across Pennsylvania, working people are already being pushed to the brink. Groceries, rent, childcare, and electricity keep getting more expensive, but our paychecks barely budge, even as billionaires amass more wealth than ever.
Now, massive federal budget cuts crafted by and for those same billionaires threaten our healthcare, our ability to put food on the table and funding for our schools, roads and public transit. This year, between the federal budget cuts and our longstanding, urgent needs for public education, transit and everyday affordability, our state needs an additional $6 billion. Unless PA lawmakers generate new revenue, communities across the state will face the fallout.
Pennsylvania needs more revenue right now – and we need it from the billionaires and corporations who can most afford to pay.
Tax Billionaires, Fund PA is a nearly $6 billion solution that puts working people first.
The Tax Billionaires, Fund PA campaign proposes three sensible and realistic revenue solutions, without asking more from everyday Pennsylvanians:
1) Close corporate tax loopholes.
Large corporations dodge Pennsylvania taxes by shifting profits to out-of-state shell companies. Closing these loopholes ensures that a corporation that makes money in Pennsylvania pays taxes in Pennsylvania—just like the rest of us.

2) Make Big Tech pay for the digital ads cluttering our screens.
Companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, and TikTok make billions by flooding our screens with ads and selling our personal information. A digital ad tax will ensure powerful corporations pay a fair tax on the ads driving their profits.

3) Tax Pennsylvania billionaires’ unearned income.
PA’s richest residents make millions every day from stocks, real estate, and trusts—not by working wages like the rest of us. A modest tax on that unearned income would raise billions to fund schools, healthcare, and housing for everyone else.
